It’s early spring here in Washington. The air is still frigid, trees barely starting to bloom. But when this mama dreamt of getting her maternity photos done on a beach, by golly we are gonna make it happen. This Tacoma maternity session was such a dream to shoot. 

There is something special about getting to capture the love between people who are like family to you. It’s easy to feel relaxed, to feel natural and show your true emotions. I was able to capture intimate moments where I could tell they truly forgot I was there with a camera, staring them down through a lens. 

We laughed, we played, we even splashed around in the water. Time slowed down as they embraced these last few moments before they became a family of three.
