Meet Juliet | University Place, WA Lifestyle Newborn Photo Session

July 13, 2022

Meet baby Juliet! Come get a sneak peek into this beautiful lifestyle newborn session. This took place in my home studio in University Place, WA.

Ellen and Chris received one of the best Father’s Day presents they ever could have asked for. Ellen gave birth to their beautiful baby girl early Sunday morning on June 19th. She was 6 lb 15 oz and 18 inches long.

Macy Meeting Juliet For The First Time

It was such an amazing experience being able to watch their 3 year old become a big sister. We got to spend some time with Macy (their toddler) and got to bring her home to meet her baby sister for the first time. You would think I was crazy if I wasn’t going to bring my camera and document this monumental moment for my friends.

Isn’t that just the sweetest little video you’ve ever seen? Just getting to watch this family grow makes me realize even more how important it is to capture these little moments with our families.

The Newborn Session

Just a week and a half later, I got to have the Williams family in my studio for a lifestyle newborn session. My goal for every session is to have it be as stress free as possible. With that being said, we all know how unpredictable babies can be, which is why I love letting them lead the session.

Something I love about lifestyle sessions is that it’s not as much about the perfect pose as it is capturing authentic emotion and connection. And this worked out perfectly because sweet Juliet didn’t want to sleep at all! But it was all okay because we got to get lots of snuggle shots and nursing photos.

Keep on scrolling to see this family’s highlight film from their session and some of my favorite photos!
